Taken by the Tide - One Picture Book

Taken by the Tide by Maria Lax

Edition of 500, comes with a signed print.

About

Our first book with Finnish artist Maria Lax explores the ideas of home, memory and place. Returning to her hometown after many years abroad, Lax realized that the place she once knew no longer in existed — except in her memory. Feeling as though she was drifting in search for a place to call home, Lax set out to create Taken by the Tide. The images in this book present a world where the familiar appears alien, and crashing waves from the rising tide pull one further out to the open sea of loneliness.
